Most importantly, I want to thank everyone on the volunteer list who helped run the meet, especially those who stayed late to pick up controls and search for the overdue competitor. Having a large number of willing club members pitching in made for a smoothly run meet.
An early morning rain that dampened my morning course setting efforts cleared in time leave great weather (for December) for the meet itself. 61 persons made 44 starts on the courses that went south and southeast from the Equestrian Trailhead. The one map imperfection (a newly constructed trail to the east of Graylin Road wasn't on the map) caused a bit of confusion for some of the advanced runners, but the courses were generally well received.
Thank you to everyone who came to this meet. I hope everyone who participated enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed setting it.
