Picture of Large and Small Tetras
with Slide

Tetras are resilient climbing nets in the shape of a tetrahedron, which is like a three sided pyramid. The edges of the tetrahedron are made of wood 4" X 4"s, and the net tetrahedron is supported inside so all the playing is done on the resilient net, never on the hard wood.

The large Tetra has two bouncy decks, the small has one. The decks are really comfortable to rest on, but when someone climbs on the net the deck bounces - not hard, just fun.

Tetras are play structures designed with the understanding that kids like to make believe and are always ready to use their imaginations. One day their Tetra might be a sailing ship; another day, it's a tree house, or a place to read. No matter what form the Tetra takes in the pretend world of your child, it is a safe place to play.

We construct Tetra nets carefully by hand using soft materials to protect your children. We knot and splice sun resistant braided white polyester rope into intricate designs We choose tough fabrics for colorful decks and slides, and we stitch strong webbing along the edges and stress lines.

As with any play equipment, we recommend that you maintain a resilient material such as sand or wood chips beneath your Tetra.

Tetra net kits include hardware, brackets, netting, decks and instructions; everything you need except the lumber. Tetra lumber kits include all the lumber -- the 2x4's for the base and 4x4's for the tripod with the holes for the bolts in each piece. It's easy to put together a Tetra, by buying your own lumber, or using one of our lumber kits.

The Single Deck Tetra is eight feet high and the frame uses ten-foot timbers. The three net faces have two rope archways and a bull's-eye that open onto the single deck. The deck is four-feet on a side and two-feet off the ground. This Tetra comfortably accommodates three children.

The upper deck is three-feet on a side and is five-feet off the ground. Two of the net faces have bull's-eye openings to climb through. The third face forms an archway for easy access to the

lower deck. This Tetra easily accommodates five children.
